The Ultra Race of Giants is the cycling race in the heart of the Alps for those who want to tackle the most beautiful French summits! On August 15, 2025, the third edition of the Giants will take place. Starting from Annecy, the gateway to our most beautiful mountain ranges, it is a unique opportunity to challenge yourself in one of our 3 formats, solo or duo, for an extraordinary experience on the most beautiful playground for cyclists.

Practical information
Mandatory equipment

Mandatory equipment list. These items will be checked on the race day when bibs and gear are issued, and may be randomly checked by the organizers during the race:
Bike equipment
- GPS tag (supplied by organizer)
- 1 set of 4 AAA Lithium batteries (for tag replacement)
- 1 bike GPS with race track
- 1 front light (800 lumens minimum) and 1 rear light (permanent operation)
- 1 bicycle pump
- 1 repair kit (inner tube + tire lever + patch kit + multitool)
- Cell phone and charger
Cyclist's equipment
- 1 survival blanket
- 1 helmet
- 1 pair of gloves, (long recommended)
- 1 visible and reflective harness or safety vest
- 1 sturdy rain jacket, as the weather can be very bad at altitude.
- Minimum water reserve: 1l (1.5l recommended for 1000kms)
Identity
- ID or passport + copy, in paper or drive (online backup)
- Repatriation insurance

Can I leave a bag at the start?

Yes, it will be possible to leave a bag with us at departure on Le Paquier. This will be kept at the clubhouse for your arrival.
When will we get the GPX?
+
More information on the track will be sent to registrants once their file has been validated. The final GPX file will be sent 1 month in advance, once all the procedures with the prefectures have been validated.
